Born in Madrid in 1995, Pedro Modrego aka PMP’s life has been about music since he can remember. When he was seven he started learning guitar and by thirteen he had already began producing his own music. A few years later he learned how to DJ and hasn’t looked back since. After a short stint outside of the music industry studying a degree in video-games design, he realized it was worth following his true passion: making unique and memorable music.
PMP’s musical style flows between Bass and Hip-Hop/Trap Music. Stylistically, his releases are wide ranging — from soft and melodic Future Bass to hard-hitting Dubstep. While this shows his versatility, most importantly it is a testament to PMP’s belief in continually evolving as a producer and musician.
PMP had two releases in 2017: “Lost in the Waves” featuring Emily Parish, which was released under Deorro’s imprint “Panda Funk” and “King Rangar”, PMP’s tribute to the TV series “Vikings”, a release on SUPRMODE. These two releases gave him 47.000 monthly listeners and more than 150.000 plays on Spotify.
2018 is going to be a big year for PMP. He has been working hard behind the scenes to show what he’s capable of, and solidify himself as an artist worth paying attention to.
